Job summary

The main duties of the posts is to care for individuals with complex health care needs in their own homes within the community.

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this role; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.

Healthcare Support Workers (Band 2)

Part Time Hours, 6 hours per shift (6PM TO 12AM)

1 X 24 hour Contract or 2 X 12 hour Contract

Due to the continued expansion of the Complex Care at Home Team and the continued success of our Hospital-2-Home service we have vacancies for Band 2 Healthcare Support Workers. Your role will be to deliver care to patients under the supervision of a team of registered nurses within their own homes.

You need to have a good standard of education, a caring attitude, and the ability to be flexible to service needs. Also important is being able to work as part of a dedicated team, complemented by good communication skills and the enthusiasm to learn.

Our service covers the whole of Aneurin Bevan University Health Board therefore it is expected that you'd be geographically mobile. We provide a 24 hour service 365 days a year.

The ability to drive patient vehicles and the ability to travel between sites in a timely manner is essential.
