Job summary
- Liaise with directorate Managers (dms) and assistant directorate managers (adms) to agree validation priorities andtimescales.
- Track patients through their pathway and make any adjustments.
- Validate waiting lists to ensure accuracy and help progress patients through their pathways.
- Communicate with key personnel including clinical, managerial, scheduling, booking and information.
- Run standard periodic reports to help quality assure validation processes and escalate patients to partner services
This post is fixed term/secondment for 8 months due to funding. If you are interested in applying for the secondment position, you must obtain permission from your current line manager prior to applying for this post.
Main duties of the job
- Validate patient pathways utilising health board systems such as WPAS, CWS and pod.
- Communicate with key personnel including clinical, managerial, scheduling, booking and information along with reviewing patient notes to ensure accuracy and help progress patients through their pathways.
- The applicant must familiarise themselves with a RTT pathways.
- Regularly validate patient pathways.
- Chase missing outcomes and identify any discrepancies with Health Board Protocols i.e., DNA's/CNA's.
- Assist with regular security audits to ensure users work within the Data Protection act and the Trust's Policy on confidentiality.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
