Job summary
This is an exciting opportunity to join the Neurology Directorate in a substantive post at Aneurin Bevan University Health Board . ABUHB is seeking a highly motivated and experienced clinician to join its established Multiple Sclerosis team. ABUHB has recently invested £6 million into the MS service , the investment will be spread across five years allowing ABUHB to implement strategic improvements in areas such as diagnosis , treatment options including Fampridine, Siponomod and Sativex, rehabilitation programs and support services for MS patients.
Main duties of the job
ABUHB prioritises comprehensive neurological care for its patients, evidenced by its robust team of nine consultant Neurologists. the tea, focuses on delivering accessible outpatient service with the clinics located across the health boards region. There is also a " neurologist of the week " which is a 1:8 rota. The candidate will be expected to participate in the neurologist of the week rota as well as delivering outpatient clinics at Nevill Hall Hospital
