An exciting opportunity has become available within Chepstow Community Hospital working on Cas Gwent Ward for a Health Care Support Worker to join our caring and professional nursing team delivering excellent nursing care to our patients.
Main duties of the job

Cas Gwent ward is a friendly welcoming team looking to recruit individuals who have a passion for patient care, and are committed to providing high standards of care for patients, their families and carers within a hospital setting .
The successful candidate will ideally possess excellent communication skills both written and verbal and good computer skills. They will be enthusiastic about change management and supportive towards their colleagues. An NVQ level 2 qualification is desirable but not essential for this post.
The ward consists of 34 beds nursing patients with a variety of medical needs focusing on rehabilitation. The shifts are 12 or 6 hours days and nights including bank holidays.
There are lots of opportunities to further develop and you will be supported with training and education.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
