Job summary
Aneurin Bevan University Health Board is looking to recruit an experienced Nurse Practitioner to work within the Medical Assessment Unit based in Ysbty Ystrad Fawr
Using effective triage skills, successful candidates will help to deliver safe and evidence based care. As an Independent prescriber successful applicants will become part of the existing multiple disciplinary team, assessing and responding to appropriate patients who require urgent care advice and further treatment. This may involve immediate interventions and onward referral.
Main duties of the job
- Triage assessing all clinical conditions
- Autonomous decision making
- Face-to-Face consultations and autonomous decision making in relation to appropriate care and treatments
- Other clinical and leadership duties along with service developments as per Job description.

- Masters level education or working towards , equivalent demonstrable level of knowledge and experience
