Job summary
The post holder will help support the paediatric enteral feeding team who care for over 150 children across the Gwent region. The post holder will need to have good communication skills as the role will involve talking to parents on the phone as well as liaising with a range of health professionals. We are looking for someone who is organised and enjoys working as part of a team.
This is a fixed term post for 12 months to cover maternity
Main duties of the job
The post will involve a range of organisational and administrative tasks as designated by the registered dietitian or administrative lead e.g. register patients on the Home Enteral Feeding system, coordinate school meal requests and order samples of nutritional products.
They will also support training and education sessions. There will be some administrative duties so knowledge of Microsoft office and other IT packages will also be of benefit.
