Full-Time and Part-Time Vacancies within Torfaen District Nursing Teams
The district nursing service is fundamental in the delivery of the health boards' clinical futures model in providing care closer to home enabling early discharge and preventing hospital admissions.
We deliver holistic care to patients within their own homes and residential homes 24/7 which meets the increasing complexities in health of our patient population across Torfaen Locality.
Main duties of the job
To care for patients and their families within their own homes is such a privilege. The Torfaen district nursing teams have an exciting opportunity for a community staff nurse to join their supportive, dedicated and forward-thinking team. You will have the opportunity to develop your clinical and interpersonal skills with continuing professional development opportunities to prepare you with the skills to meet the evolving autonomous role of the community nurse through engagement of a robust induction programme.
Applications are invited from UK NMC Registered Nurses who share the underpinning values of the Torfaen district nursing teams in delivering high standards of care to patients through effective and supportive team working.
The ability to speak Welsh is not desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
