CAMHS Practitioner - S-CAMHS Core Eating Disorders Team
SCAMHS Mental Health Practitioner working within the Eating Disorders Team, supporting young people and families experiencing eating disorders and recovery.
Main duties of the job
A position has arisen for a Band 6 CAMHS practitioner, to work with the Integrated-CAMHS Core Eating Disorders Team (EDIT), based at Ty-Bryn Unit at St Cadoc's Hospital. The EDIT team is part of the ICAMHS service. The EDIT team aims to work intensively with families, young people and other agencies in order to support young people struggling with the effects of eating disorders and difficulties. The post holder will act as care coordinator for a number of young people, facilitating individual and family work to support recovery.
The post is open to qualified practitioners with CAMHS experience.
The post-holder will be expected to develop and deliver evidence based group and individual work, and will be required to work closely with families, across a range of settings. The post holder will also be required to offer evidence based individual work with young people experiencing psychological distress. The successful applicant will possess a range of evidence based therapeutic skills, and will be able to demonstrate the ability to work in a multi agency and multi-disciplinary way.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
