Job summary

A permanent part time opportunity (28 hours) has arisen for a dynamic and conscientious Administrative Support Officer to join the busy admin team based within the Physiotherapy Department at County Hospital, Pontypool. Job plan and hours negotiated at interview.

Main duties of the job

You will be a strong team player with excellent communication skills. The post holder must embrace change and be committed to best practice.

The post will involve inputting accurate patient information and validating waiting lists within the Myrddin/ WelshPAS system. Experience of using Myrddin/ WelshPAS would be very beneficial for this position however additional training will be provided. The post holder will also be responsible for supporting the local team with administrative duties, appointment bookings, waiting list validation and other duties as directed by the Administration Lead.

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
