Job summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Public Health Nursing Service. We are looking for an enthusiastic and organised individual with an eye for detail. The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, be flexible in their approach and be able to work effectively as an individual and as a member of a team. The Role will require Call Handling experience and use of Office 365 applications.
Duties will include Scheduling of all Healthy Child Wales clinics, ensuring clinic utilisation is maximised. Completion of weekly data validation checks, using Health Board systems and manning the Public Health Nursing Single Point of Access line, including logging all calls and referrals on the Public Health Nursing call system.
The successful candidate will have experience in data inputting and communicating with all levels of the organisation, they will become a valued member of team and have the opportunity to develop themselves professionally within the role.
Main duties of the job
- Receive telephone calls and deal with enquiries, received via the Single Point of Access line, communicating and liaising with patients, relatives, members of the public, other departments and services in a sensitive and tactful manner.
- To ensure that data input onto the Single Point of Access system/MS Bookings/Child Health System is accurate and within agreed timescales.
- To support with the co-coordinating/scheduling of clinics across the Health Visiting Service, ensuring that capacity is utilised to the maximum via the use of MS Bookings.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this role; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
