Job summary

We have exciting opportunities for Band 5 speech and language therapists within the children's speech and language therapy service in Aneurin Bevan University Health Board. We have a combination of permanent and fixed term positions.

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply.

Main duties of the job

The therapists will work with children, young people and their families providing an excellent level of care using evidence-based practice and a range of clinical pathways to inform this. We are seeking enthusiastic therapists with a dynamic approach who can work collaboratively and effectively with others both within the Speech and Language Therapy team and the wider team around the child in a person-centred way. The post holder will beorganised and committed to personal development.

Aneurin Bevan University Health Board Speech and Language Therapy department has90 therapists and assistants working with a range of people with a range of speech, language and communication difficulties.Team meetings take place throughout the year and staff receive regular supervision.

We support flexible working arrangements and consideration will be given to part time or full time working.
