Job summary

This position provides support to the medical wards in Nevill Hall Hospital and Ysbty Ystrad Fawr.

The position provides day to day management of electronic rotas on a continual basis, ensuring that all staff are provided with accurate up to date duty rotas.

The post is based in Nevill Hall Hospital but may require travelling to Ysbty Ystrad Fawr. This position is for 18 hours to be worked over 3 days

Main duties of the job

The post holder will be responsible for ensuring all roster changes are updated in a timely manner to support the service requirement. The post holder requires a full understanding of the system from set-up, running rotas, ensuring annual leave, study leave and sickness absence is incorporated into the process thereby ensuring the efficient and effective staffing on the wards.

The post holder will provide up to date management of the rotas across the allocated wards, ensuring work is evenly distributed, accurate and timely, as well as policy compliant.

This post is fixed term/secondment for 13 months to cover maternity leave.
