Job summary
An exciting development opportunity has arisen for an Advanced Nurse Practitioner to join our evolving teams within Primary Care and Community Services Division.
The nurse led ward was established six years ago and has continued to evolve and grow as a service. The hospital has had out of hours practitioners since opening, supporting the site outside of normal working hours. In 2023 the ward expanded to include a CRT admission unit. As part of its establishment to improve links between the BGCRT and the nurse practitioner team at YAB, several rotational nurse practitioners were employed. This new role will also be rotational, allowing the successful candidate to gain experience in all settings.
This post offers an innovative and exciting, highly autonomous Band 7 role as part of a programme which aims to support our integrated practitioners of the future in line with the clinical futures programme.

Main duties of the job
Requiring an advanced practitioner to support with assessing patient, diagnosing and implementing evidenced based care
liaising with family and supporting staff training development needs
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this role; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
