Job summary
A unique opportunity has arisen for a professional, resilient, credible, and inspiring nurse to undertake the role of Senior Nurse within County Hospital , Torfaen.
The Senior Nurse role will provide strong clinical and professional leadership, whilst being a visible and supportive role model. They will be professionally accountable for the delivery of high-quality, safe and effective care and therefore the successful individual will take a lead in driving forward a positive culture of robust governance and quality improvement.
Main duties of the job
To succeed in this role, you will need to inspire and motivate a large workforce, build excellent relationships through good communication skills, and have a strong eye for detail and most importantly, for professional standards.
You must be willing to embrace a broad range of new challenges and possess the knowledge and drive to create and deliver innovative opportunities for developing population health and patient care. As a key member of the senior nursing team within the division, you will work closely with several individuals such as the Borough Head of Service, Directorate Manager and Deputy Head of Nursing.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this role; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
