Job summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen within the ABUHB Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service (CAMHS). We are looking to recruit a full time band 6 qualified occupational therapist who will be embedded within the Core community team and support the holistic mental health choice assessment of children, young people and their families.
Main duties of the job
This post is essential to the multidisciplinary running of the community team and will provide strong leadership within a team of clinicians. The successful applicant will be required to provide a high level of care within a community/clinic setting. The occupational therapy role will provide the Core team with access to assessment of occupational performance needs, occupational therapy planning, intervention and evaluation of care for children and young people presenting with complex and severe mental health difficulties.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply
