Job summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced secretary/administrator to join us within the Lower Monmouthshire Adult Community Mental Health Services at Hywel Dda, Chepstow, as Medical Secretary to the Consultant Psychiatrist.
Main duties of the job
The post holder must have secretarial experience, will be expected to demonstrate excellent organisational skills and be flexible and adaptable in your approach to work. You must be able to work on your own initiative, use tact and diplomacy where appropriate and possess excellent communication skills. The post holder will require audio-typing skills as well as experience of diary planning and management. The post holder will work closely with a Consultant Psychiatrist and will also provide administrative support to the wider team as an when required.
Knowledge of ABUHB databases and IT systems is desirable.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
