Job summary

We are pleased to offer the position of Endoscopy/HSDU Quality Manager in our recently opened state of the art Sterile Service Unit on the new Grange University Hospital. The post would also involve travelling to our other hospital sites.

The post holder will undertake the decontamination, packing, sterilisation and re-supply of surgical instruments etc., under the direction of the HSDU Operations Manager, as part of a team.

Main duties of the job

To participate in the provision of a specialised decontamination of medical devices service contributing to the clinical care of the patient and perform a full range of decontamination duties.

Work in accordance with the Department's Standard Operating Procedures and Quality Management Systems and provide supervision to Decontamination Technicians within the team. Plan your own workload with minimal supervision.
