Band 7 Department Sister/Charge Nurse/Clinical Lead
An exciting opportunity has become available for a passionate enthusiastic skilled nurse leader to lead the nursing team of a modern new SDEC unit within the Grange University Hospital. The SDEC will be a fast-paced area providing safe and effective care for medical and surgical patients who receive their care, investigations and treatments on the same day.
Main duties of the job
As the lead you will have a strong commitment to excellence in patient care and a high level of communication skills, as you will act as the interface between patients and other healthcare professionals.
The successful applicant will be pivotal in developing the nursing team to work in this fresh new concept with ABUHB. You will be the nursing voice within a large multi-disciplinary team. The Lead will have the ability to motivate and develop your team ensuring they are equipped with the skills and knowledge required to care for their patients.
Leadership skills and acute assessment skills are essential for this post. If you are looking for a challenge in developing a new service to serve the community of our Health Board this is the post. You will be fully supported by the Senior Nurse team in starting and developing the service
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this role; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
