Job summary

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an innovative and enthusiastic Nurse to work on Oak Ward as Band 6, Deputy Ward Manager. You will be required to act as part of the management team in the running of a busy 17 bed acute wards, providing both clinical and managerial leadership to junior staff.

Main duties of the job

You would need to provide leadership, role modelling and clinical skills. We are looking for the post-holders to be enthusiastic, dedicated to the service. Our ward and wider services benefit from a welcoming, warm, multi-disciplinary team consisting of Psychiatrists, Health Care Support Workers, Mental Health Nurses and Physiotherapists. This is an exciting opportunity for enthusiastic applicants to become part of an effective working multi-disciplinary team.

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
