Job summary
The post will be based at the University Hospital of Wales, Cardiff. Following vascular centralisation arterial surgery (for residents in Cardiff and Vale UHB and Aneurin Bevan UHB areas) is only performed on the University Hospital of Wales Hub site.
The post will be part of the trainee doctors participating in ward, emergency department, outpatients clinics and operating theatre work alongside other trainee's and will be fully supported by the Vascular Surgeon's.
The post holder will also be required to support the General Surgery team in required to cover surgical wards, including participating in the emergency General Surgery on call rota.
