Admin & Clerical Team Leader

Job summary

The post holder will oversee and ensure provision of all Clerical Officer duties within the Radiology Directorate to provide an efficient and effective service to the Directorate and the University Health Board.

The successful candidate will be supported to thrive in a busy and varied role and will work with the A&C staff in both University Hospital of Wales (UHW) and University Hospital Llandough (UHL) to ensure supervisory cover is maintained at all times. The cross site cover is expected to be a 1 week in 4 rotation to UHL. Monday- Friday 8.30 - 17.00.

Main duties of the job

  1. To supervise the day to day running of all reception and clerical areas, to ensure a smooth and efficient service reprioritise the allocation of staff and work as need.
  2. Will be responsible for the day to day supervision, induction and overall training of staff on RADI.S. and PMS.
  3. Ensure the rota is covered and runs smoothly including covering late evenings, nights and weekends, including cover for annual leave, and absence for all reception and clerical areas.
  4. Provide support to ensure the smooth running of the On-Call rota
