Specialist Physiotherapist - Mental Health Services for Older People

Job summary

We are looking for a dynamic and innovative, experienced physiotherapist with proven rehabilitation clinical skills to join a specialist acute medicine rotation.

You will work alongside members of the multidisciplinary team to assess and deliver physiotherapy to patients who may have acute medicine needs, multi-pathologies and complex social needs. You will be required to have proven problem solving skills for complex discharge planning and flexibility in dealing with changes in service provision. You will need to have good time management, resilience and prioritising skills.

Main duties of the job

A part-time opportunity has arisen for an experienced and enthusiastic Physiotherapist to join the Mental health Services for Physiotherapy team at University Hospital Llandough.

We are seekinga dynamic and innovative physiotherapist with proven rehabilitation skills to support adults with both functional and organic mental health needs.

The successful candidate will deliver physical health and well-being interventions aligned with our award-winning Rehabilitation Model, supporting sustained recovery across inpatient, outpatient, and community settings.
