To provide a comprehensive, courteous and efficient reception service to patients and perform to a high standard clerical and administrative duties associated with the co-ordination of outpatient clinics for members of the Clinical Team.
To fulfill the Clinic Coordinator role for AMD clinic at University Hospital of Wales (UHW) in Cardiff and to be responsible for all relevant aspects of the preparation and delivery of these clinics.
Main duties of the job
You will work as part of a team with individual responsibility for providing efficient and effective clerical support for specific clinics and the completion of data recording, clinic outcome forms among other key duties.
Ability to work as part of a team or on your own and also a good telephone manner is essential. Knowledge of patient management and other IT systems would be an advantage, but full training will be provided.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this role; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
