Job summary
We have an exciting opportunity for a motivated, enthusiastic and experienced clinical pharmacist to join our patient-focused and progressive Children and Women Pharmacy Team.
The post holder will have the opportunity to provide clinical pharmacy services and medicines management to patients of the Tertiary PaediatricHaematology / Oncology Service and play an integral role in directing this service as part of the MDT, ensuring that a sustainable, high qualitypharmacy service is provided for the paediatric population of South and Mid Wales.
The post holder will be supported in developing their advanced practice by our experienced Lead / Consultant Pharmacist and the excellent teamof professionals working in the Haematology / Oncology department.
Main duties of the job
We are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic pharmacist, with excellent communication skills who will work well within the multi-disciplinaryteam. Previous experience in paediatric oncology is desirable but sufficient experience in paediatrics or haematology / oncology will beconsidered.

The role will have responsibility for managing and prescribing medication for patients as well as leading on the development and maintenance ofelectronic chemotherapy regimens.
