Job summary
As a rota co-ordinator, you will be an integral member of a small rota team. You will be responsible for managing rotas for midwives, nurses, support workers and receptionists.
This role is central to maintaining safe staffing levels and supporting high-quality patient care through the effective coordination of rotas

This role requires more than just rota management, it demands a proactive, detail-focused individual who understands the impact of effective planning on clinical safety and service delivery. You will need to be confident working with data, able to prioritise under pressure, and capable of interpreting contractual entitlements such as annual leave.
You will be the central point of contact for rota-related queries, often working with minimal supervision, so sound judgement, initiative and problem-solving skills are essential. Your ability to communicate effectively with clinicians, managers, and colleagues will make you a trusted and reliable member of the team.
