Job summary

An opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and motivated individual who is passionate about improving patient care and share our Health Board values to join our team.

Main duties of the job

The post holder will ensure that the pharmaceutical care of patients are met and that medicines management standards are upheld. The main duties of the job include;

  • Prepare labels and dispense medication for patients
  • Maintain stock of drugs in the dispensary (including stocktaking and expiry date checks)
  • Answer simple telephone queries
  • Undertake wing stock top-ups of medication
