Cataract Coordinator

Job summary

Opportunity has arisen for two Cataract Coordinators to join our team based in our Ophthalmology department.

Working across both sites at UHW and UHL Monday to Friday Working Hours: 7:30am - 3:30pm / 8am - 4pm / 8:30am - 4:30pm (to be confirmed upon appointment to meet service needs).

You will be part of a friendly team working in a busy department to ensure that the administration and co-ordination of the organisations surgical waiting lists are carried out to the highest standards. Specifically the COVID 19 test requests for surgical patients by monitoring & surveillance of all surgical patients ensuring they have a Negative COVID result and can proceed to their surgical booking.

We are looking for someone who enjoys meeting new people and has excellent communication skills, and has the ability to prioritise their own workload and work well in a multi-disciplinary team. You will have excellent communication skills, good IT skills and a working knowledge and experience of PMS.
