An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and motivated individual to work with the Network Manager and support our Inherited Bleeding Disorders and Inherited Metabolic Diseases services.

The networks have been commissioned by the NHS Wales Joint Commissioning Committee (JCC) to ensure equity of care for people with inherited bleeding disorders and inherited metabolic diseases across Wales. We are seeking to appoint an Assistant Network Manager on a fixed term/ or secondment for 12 months. We are keen to hear from someone who is ambitious, creative and focused, and who takes a proactive approach to service development. Excellent organisational skills and the ability to work within multi-disciplinary teams will be essential.

They will also ensure effective clinic management and support in facilitating new ways of working in the network through a variety of IT solutions.

The post holder will need experience of organisational governance and a proven track record of operational success. In return, they will be a core part of a proactive and dynamic team who are driven to achieve the very best for patients.

The successful candidate must possess excellent organisational, problem solving and communication skills. They must be capable of working under pressure to meet deadlines and have the ability to confidently engage with colleagues across NHS Wales. The post holder on occasion will be required to work autonomously to drive forward their own programme of work and use innovation to overcome challenges.

The successful candidate will be required to travel to other centres across the region.

  • Qualification to Post Grad diploma level (or equivalent experience)
  • Evidence of management development through Continuous Professional Development, and/or formal management courses
