You must have current GMC registration and recent experience working as a GP.
Main duties of the job
The role will require you to work with practice teams, providing expert advice to GP practices that are identified as needing support. You will be responsible for reviewing (as part of a management and contractual team) all aspects of the practice including systems, quality, planning and co-ordination. You will need to demonstrate considerable leadership, innovation and initiative and be able to work proactively with practice teams.
The post holder will also support the Primary Care Team by providing specialist advice and leadership on contractual issues and new models of service delivery in line with Welsh Government (WG) policies and strategic direction.
