Job summary
This post provides an exciting opportunity to make a real contribution to the provision of the Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery services in Cardiff, together with teaching the next generation of dentists.
Applicants should have four years Hospital/Community experience of oral surgery / OMFS. They will have effective communication skills and have the ability to make independent clinical decisions when necessary. Applicants should also have experience in acute dentistry.
Main duties of the job
The postholder will be required to participate in Consultant Clinics, provide MOS treatment sessions, assist on the Same Day Emergency Dental Care Clinic and participate in the teaching and supervision of dental undergraduates and Dental Core Trainees within the University Dental Hospital
The postholder will also be required to participate in the on-call provision for OMFS
