An exciting opportunity exists for a registered nurse to join the Health Visiting service, providing advice and support to young families with children across Cardiff.

Main duties of the job

An exciting opportunity exists for conscientious, motivated and innovative Community Public Health Nurse to work within the Cardiff and Vale University Health Board Health Visiting service.

We require enthusiastic and positive nurses who are pro-active and have a 'can do approach'. You should work well as part of a team and take ownership and responsibility for providing a safe and excellent service to the families within your care, with support from the Health Visitor.

We expect our staff to be professional and consistent role models who lead by example and are committed to learning and improving to develop themselves and others.

If you have a natural ability to put others at ease, are patient calm and reassuring, have the ability to communicate honestly when under pressure and work well as part of a team we would like to receive your application.

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
