Job summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen to work as part of the Cystic Fibrosis Research Team as a Trials Administrator.
The All Wales Adult Cystic Fibrosis Service has an extensive and expanding research portfolio. There are currently >350 adult CF patients within the service and the research team is expanding to meet the expansion needs of the research team and portfolio.
In addition to the research team, there is a large multidisciplinary team. The team work closely and support each other to deliver high quality specialist patient care. This post is fixed term/secondment for 12 months to meet the needs of the service.

Main duties of the job
We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated individual with excellent communication and organisational skills to join our friendly, professional research team.
Strong administrative and IT skills are essential to support the team in delivery of its portfolio of research studies.
You will support a variety of core clinical research processes, including those related to development of trial documentation, setting up and coordinating clinical studies and handling research finances. Working closely with experienced research staff, you will develop an appreciation of the regulations governing the conduct of clinical research in the UK, with a view to facilitating the expansion of the All Wales Adult Cystic Fibrosis Centre's research portfolio.
You will communicate regularly with our local Research and Development department and multidisciplinary team, as well as collaborating with researchers, study sponsors and clinical trials units at a national and international level.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply.
