Job summary
We are looking for a nurse with the skills, dedication, and compassion that can make a difference to patients with haematological conditions, undergoing Blood and Stem Cell Transplantation or CarT cell therapy which is the first service of its kind in Wales. This exciting and dynamic nursing post will support patients with haematological malignancies from across South Wales.
We are a friendly and experienced team, who strive to deliver excellent patient care. We work closely with colleagues in the multidisciplinary team and together our objective is to ensure patients and their families receive care which is tailored to meet their individual needs
Main duties of the job
Our unit is a fast moving and progressive area which actively supports nurse led activities and offers excellent opportunities for professional and personal development.
The Haematology Directorate offers an excellent preceptorship scheme for newly qualified staff and will ensure that you are fully supported with 4 weeks supernumerary on initial appointment.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
