Job summary

The post holder will provide speech and language therapy intervention to a caseload of children with a range of communication difficulties and disorders within the early years team. Children and families will be seen at various sites across Cardiff and the Vale of Glamorgan. The successful candidate will work as a member of the multidisciplinary team (MDT), and liaise with other agencies and disciplines in relation to specific children. The post holder will participate in best practice initiatives, work with speech and language therapy technical instructors provide observation placements for SLT students, and undertake teaching/training of other professions.

Main duties of the job

Cardiff and Vale University Health Board (UHB) is pleased to offer 1 Band 5 vacancy within the Children's SLT Service Early Years Team. The successful candidate will join our supportive and friendly team working with children and families in a variety of settings.
