This programme is for energetic, enthusiastic doctors of ST3/ST4+ or equivalent level in Emergency Medicine who wish to develop their prehospital emergency medicine (PHEM) skills in the first Welsh Major Trauma Centre (MTC) and its partner the Welsh Ambulance Service Trust (WAST).

Main duties of the job

They will be joining a well-staffed and supportive hospital team containing 25 Consultants and 13 Registrars in Emergency Medicine. The Welsh ECRU is a new development in partnership with UHW and WAST and hopes to build on & streamline clinical pathways for patients that may attend the ED.
