Job summary

The post holder will manage, develop and deliver fundraising and external communications for LATCH to a high standard, ensuring alignment with organisational priorities.

The post holder will grow our fundraising income and build our audience of friends, ambassadors and supporters, meeting organisational fundraising targets and helping us to develop a sound financial platform.

The post holder will be responsible for ensuring that all fundraising activities, including charitable funds' income and expenditure, is recorded and managed in compliance with Charity Commission requirements, the Fundraising Regulator Code of Practice, and aligned to LATCH administration and financial governance and audit controls.

The post holder will lead LATCH's fundraising activities and communications, against agreed objectives.

Main duties of the job

Devise and deliver a fundraising and communications strategy (in conjunction with senior management) based on the strengths of LATCH, our audience and your skillset, to meetagreed targets.

Monitor and track progress of the fundraising and communications strategy (and any sub-strategies/plans) through agreed key performance indicators, providing analysis of the levels of success; including keeping up to date records, analysing and evaluating activities to inform future plans.

Plan, manage and implement fundraising projects and events, using effective project management methodology.

Provide support to and manage volunteer Ambassadors (including overseeing related income streams) and LATCH Branches, in conjunction with the administration team.

Produce and manage fundraising income and expenditure budgets, including budgets for events, in conjunction with the Finance Manager and senior team.

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply.

This post is fixed term for 24 months due to - meet the needs of the service
