Job summary

The Dental Nursing department currently has a permanent vacancy for a Sedation qualified Dental Nurse- based within our IMOSS service working 2 days on a Thursday and Friday.

Main duties of the job

The Dental Nursing department currently has a 15 hour vacancy for a Sedation qualified Dental Nurse- based in our IMOSS service which is based in Llandough, Barry and St David's hospital.

The post holder will assist dental procedures with patients under sedation.

To provide support to the clinical staff, post graduate and undergraduate education teaching session.

Participate in clinical teaching as and when required

The post holder will need to be a self motivated individual. A requirement of the post is to liaise with staff and other health professionals to maintain good working relationships.

Excellent communication skills are required.

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
