Clinical Teaching Fellow Child Health
Applications are invited forthis exciting opportunity at Noah's Ark Children's Hospital in Cardiff.
The successful applicant will:
- Join our Child Health faculty and play an active role in organisation and delivery of undergraduate medical teaching (50%).
- Work clinically within General Paediatrics (50%). Of note, placement in another specialty instead may be possible subject to your prior experience, interest and post availability nearer the time.
- Undertake a Post Graduate Certificate in medical education with Cardiff University (fees funded)
Main duties of the job
The post is aimed at ST6-8 level or equivalent, but strong applications from ST4-5 level will be considered.
The post is for one year, from 6th September 2024 till and including 3rd September 2025. The post is full time with a 50% out of hours supplement.
For Wales Deanery trainees the option exists to continue training at 50% less than full time basis alongside applying for out of program experience. Advance discussion with the program director is strongly recommended.
