Job summary

We are looking for an enthusiastic and highly motivated Public Health Practitioner, with excellent communication skills, to join our busy and dynamic team. The post holder will have a proven track record of successful delivery of public health programmes and experience of working with partners both within and outside of the NHS.

Main duties of the job

The successful candidate will contribute to the planning, implementation and evaluation of a range of public health and health promotion programmes across the diverse communities of Cardiff and the Vale of Glamorgan with a focus on Tobacco Control and Smoking Prevention.

You will be able to use your excellent communication and team working skills to work across the NHS and with a range of partner organisations including schools at both strategic and operational levels.

If you are a highly motivated individual with the ability to enthuse and motivate others we are keen to hear from you.

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this role; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
