Job summary
We are looking for an enthusiastic individual with a 'can do attitude ' to work alongside our busy Ophthalmology nursing team within Cardiff and Vale UHB. Situated in the University Hospital of Wales Outpatient department, the Ophthalmology treatment centre provides a variety of services including intravitreal eye injections.
Main duties of the job
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic, motivated person to join our busy team in the Ophthalmology clinic/ treatment centre at the University Hospital of Wales.
This large departmentcares for patients with all types of Ophthalmic conditions in an out-patient settingand perform invasive treatments within the department. We provide a lot of support for our patients who are sometimes frequent attenders due to their eye condition.
The post holder would be required to assist the qualified nurses with procedures and clinics as well as work with the Ophthalmologists in order to provide an excellent service for our patients and their families.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
