Job summary
We are looking for a Band 6 Mental Health Practitioner to work as part of our Young Person Drug and Alchol Specialsims for Emotional Wellbeing and Mental Health service, Cardiff and Vale UHB. The post holder will be a suitably qualified , experienced (at least 2 years) registered mental health nurse
We are looking for someone who is passionate about their work and is able to work well autonomously as well as being committed to working as part of a team who are transforming services for Children and Young people who are experienceing emotional wellbeing and mental health challenges
Main duties of the job
To deliver evidence based holistic care to clients within the context of a multidisciplinary, multi-agency Young People and Family Mental Health & Drug and Alcohol Service. To take responsibility for a clinical caseload providing comprehensive assessment, care and treatment to clients referred to the Service. Foster robust working relationships with all partners and key stakeholders, in particular, Youth Justice and Youth Offending, Local Authority, Health Care and the Third sector.
Contribute to the continuing improvement and development of community mental health services.
