Cardiff and Vale UHB Occupational Therapy Band 6 Rotation
We are pleased to offer this exciting opportunity for an Occupational Therapist to join our Band 6 rotation.
This mixed rotation includes a range of rotations across acute, rehabilitation and community including acute medicine, orthopaedics, spinal, stroke and older persons rehabilitation services. Community rotations are based in one of our three teams : Community Mental Health Team, Cardiff Community Resource Team and Vale Local Authority.
Main duties of the job
We are looking for an appropriately qualified and motivated Occupational Therapist who wishes to gain experience in a range of exciting clinical services-we have embedded the RCOT Career Progression Framework within our service and encourage you to develop your skills underpinned by the four pillars of practice. Our rotations occur annually and support is provided by highly experienced clinicians within each service. There are CPD opportunities available in all specialties.
Post holders will be expected at all times to behave in accordance with our values demonstrating commitment to the delivery of high quality services to patients.There will be the requirement to work weekends/ extended hours in some of the rotationsCardiff and Vale UHB is unique in being a teaching UHB, providing tertiary, specialist, general acute, mental health and community services and has a renowned reputation for teaching, research and development.The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply.
