Job summary
An opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and experienced nurse, to join an exciting and dynamic research team in the Nephrology and Transplant Directorate, Cardiff.
You will need to be highly motivated, enthusiastic first level registered nurse, experienced in direct patient care in renal or research environment.
Main duties of the job
We are seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic nurse who is able to work flexibly to support the service and contribute to studies within our varied portfolio and who has a keen interest in research. Nephrology and Transplant experience is not essential to this role as an orientation package can be arranged.
The post holders will work autonomously to assist in the management of a caseload of clinical trial patients, whilst working as part of a multi-disciplinary team. The post holder will be able to maintain effective communication with patients, carers and professionals to ensure high quality service delivery.
The post holder will be working within both the Nephrology and Transplant Directorate at UHW and dialysis units throughout South East Wales.
