Job summary

The University Dental Hospital is looking for an enthusiastic, hard working and caring individual to join our reception team in Ysbyty Cwm Cynon in Mountain Ash to support the education of our undergraduate students. The post is a generic role and it will cover five days where the candidate will need to be flexible with the working hours within the week and when required will also be working at the University Dental Hospital in Cardiff.

Main duties of the job

The main duties of the post will be to arrange and cancel appointments for patients attending the dental clinics on our electronic dental record system, Salud. The post holder will also carryout a range of reception duties including scanning, answering telephones and taking queries.

Knowledge of using patient management systems would be an advantage but full training will be provided. Good IT skills will also be an advantage.

During quiet times the post holder maybe required to work in the University Dental Hospital supporting the student clinics.
