Job summary
We are looking for experienced and dynamic nurse's to work as part of our nurse lead CAMHS Crisis Liaison service as part of the emotional wellbeing and mental health care group.
They will provide support, advice and education to the emergency departments/Paediatric wards and general wards to build knowledge and skills of staff within these settings in the care and treatment of children and young people with mental health difficulties.
The post holder will facilitate the day to day delivery of the service, interfacing with other agencies and supporting Staff within the Crisis Liaison Team and wider MDT within CAMHS
Main duties of the job
The purpose of this role is to provide a timely assessment to children and young people who present in a mental health crisis.
They will ensure that the young person is seen and assessed in a timely manner and a appropriate risk assessment and management plan is devised.
The post holder will facilitate the day to day delivery of the service, interfacing with other agencies and supporting Staff within the Crisis Liaison Team and wider MDT within CAMHS
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
