We invite applications for Junior Clinical Fellow rotational posts in Paediatrics at the Noah's Ark Children's Hospital for Wales, Cardiff. This is an exciting opportunity to gain paediatric experience at a world class paediatric hospital, with a wealth of training and education opportunities available to successful applicants. Whilst these are not accredited training posts, they attract the same training opportunities, including study leave, a named educational supervisor, and a very active educational program equal to that received by deanery trainees.
Medical observerships can be facilitated if required pre start date. A brief period of '2 weeks supernumerary, settling in can be arranged depending on candidate needs, this will ensure that applicants to this post are ready and have the competencies to take up a tier 2 middle grade post.
Main duties of the job
The post will commence on the 1st of July for 12 months, with good prospects of 6-monthly rotation through the range of paediatric subspecialties within the Children's Hospital, subject to your performance, interest, and post availability nearer the time. The Children's Hospital for Wales offers a full range of Regional Specialties for children in Wales. We require doctors to work across a range of specialties, including General Paediatrics, Paediatric Surgery, Neonatology, Cardiology, Respiratory, Renal, Gastro-enterology, Neurology and Haematology-Oncology.
