Job summary
This full time post is based within a busy Oral & Maxillofacial unit for 6 months. This is to cover a middle tier vacancy.
The University Dental Hospital (UDH) is the only dental teaching hospital in Wales and is on the same site as the University Hospital of Wales (UHW). This hospital is a large teaching hospital with 968 beds and provides a full range of services including Accident and Emergency, Neurosurgery and a large Intensive Care facility. and also includes the Major Trauma Centre for Wales.
This fixed term post will commence on 3rd August 2022 until 31st January 2023.
Main duties of the job
The unit covers all aspects of oral and maxillofacial surgery, including orthognathic surgery, maxillofacial injuries and oro-facial cancer. There is opportunity to gain experience in all aspects of ablative and reconstructive surgery and in microvascular transfer.
The successful individual will participate in a 1 in 7 on call rota
