This is a fixed term post for 12 months with the possibility of making this post permanent.

The Breast service is part of the Trauma and Orthopaedics Directorate and is based in a purpose-built Breast Centre at University Hospital of Llandough. This is a tertiary referral centre and there is collaboration with plastic surgeons enabling oncoplastic clinics and surgery to be performed. In addition, we perform risk-reducing surgery for high risk genetics patients.

The primary focus of the post itself will be to gain more experience at staff grade level in Breast Surgery. The appointee will be expected to have a baseline level of surgical experience and as a team we are happy to support and develop those skills further.
