Health Education England's Technology Enhanced Learning Team (TEL) are recruiting! Talented Graphic Designers are needed to support the growth of the team's elearning for healthcare (elfh) platform. elfh works with the NHS health and care workforce, for the NHS health and care workforce, creating elearning content across of a range of topics from asthma through to wound care. Main duties of the job
The Graphic Designer (GD) will be key to ensuring that the new service meets user needs, and to transforming current content practices and processes.
This is a key role in the development of collaborative e-learning solutions within HEE TEL projects. It offers a great opportunity to use your flair and creativity to bring to life e-learning content targeted at the health and social care workforce.
The role requires you to develop and foster relationships with a range of subject matter experts (SMEs), usually health and social care professionals, across a range of subjects. You will work collaboratively with SMEs, learning designers and other team members to develop a unique design for each project. You will be responsible for pitching ideas, contributing to the ongoing development of each product and managing the creative process through to completion. The GD will typically operate within a geographically diverse team and contribute to the development of the team, its culture and its working practices.

The postholder will:
- Own the relationship with the project team to ensure the successful delivery of creative, visual solutions
- Initiate contact with key member of the project team and develop those relationships
- Develop a unique design for each project, within the current templates, processes and standards
- Ensure all graphics are designed meeting the agreed brief and ensure that all feedback is dealt with in an appropriate manner
- Be highly skilled in Adobe suite; Photoshop, Illustrator and Indesign
- Provide progress information to the Project Manager via the nominated tool so that progress and achievement for each session can be clearly seen at all levels of the organisation
- Support the development of ideas, concepts, templates, processes and tools within the team
- Make full use of communication tools available to ensure that the virtual team ethos is supported
The post holder will be expected to be flexible and will likely be required to work across the many different areas of Health Education England as business priorities and demands change. Salary Progression Applicants will commence at the bottom of Band 7 with a full-time starting salary of £40,057, with pay step increases after 2 years service and 5 years service. For posts based in Inner London, the above salaries will include the additional supplement of 20% of basic salary, subject to a minimum payment of £4,608 per annum and a maximum payment of £7,097 per annum. This is offered in accordance with NHS Terms and Conditions and is based on office location.
