Job summary
The National Commissioning Team is looking for two Contract Managers to join the team to support with the operational delivery of NHS Education Contract and other HEE Education Contracts.The post holders will work as part of the national team providing specialist support and advice in relation to Education and Training contracts across HEE. This will involve the understanding and utilisation of the best evidence and intelligence to support education contract management, performance management and validating contract activities.
Main duties of the job
The post holders will offer diverse range of contract management opportunities across HEE Contracting Portfolio and require individuals with strategic and thorough approach, with attention to details as part of the contracts process.
The post holders will:
Be responsible for the day-to-day contract management of existing and newly commissioned education contracts with providers including contact governance, performance reporting and liaison.
Lead across in a matrix manner and be responsible for the day-to-day management of existing education contracts with providers including contact governance, performance reporting and liaison.
Act as subject matter expects across HEE on Contracts.
Prepare, agree, and complete contract schedules where applicable and develop robust systems of contract performance management that enables activity and quality indicators to be defined, measured, and monitored.
Support and deputise for the Senior Education Contract Manager in providing a professional education contract management service to HEE.

Salary Progression
Applicants will commence at the bottom of Band 8a with a full-time starting salary of £47,126, with a pay step increase after 5 years service.
For posts based in Inner London, the above salaries will include the additional supplement of 20% of basic salary, subject to a minimum payment of £4,608 per annum and a maximum payment of £7,097 per annum. This is offered in accordance with NHS Terms and Conditions and is based on office location.
